hi Sonja, thanks for your response. I didn't quite realise that there was a particular group already going. I am keen to make a digital "story" (maybe poem?) and will start work on it, but can't commit to deadlines at this point. I'd love to put it on this site when finished though, and to be a less actively engaged member of the site. It's a great idea to have all the resources (technical and people) gathered in one site, and I'm sure it will be good to have people bouncing ideas off each other.
thanks again, Bronwen

THanks Sonja, I've caught up with your Ari news - congratulations are long overdue. My sister had her second baby two mornings ago which is exciting... I found my way to this site via my partner Bronwen. And we've been talking over stories we could make separately and together... babymaking is just one of those ideas.

Congrats on being featured. Not entirely sure what that means, but it sounds good. :-D

i am still getting used to this site! The problem with the hegemony of FB is that i am looking for things on RFT that are either not where i expect them or not there at all! Is all about learning a new pattern of engagement i guess! Anyway, i joined the research group - is there any option other than to send a message to the group? Can i make a post the the group's wall? Have an interesting link but you cant send html via a message (and would seem better to post to a wall anyway so future users can view!!). x

He he, as soonas i noticed a purple scheme was avaliable, i had to do it!

The bulletin Board on MS is a lace where people can leaves msg's, info, etc that every one you're connected with can access. Just an idea. Perhaps there's a suitable app - i haven't looked yet, too afraid my head will explode!

Hi Sonja,
Yeah, I'm here, just had to think about it for a while. SA Health have invited me in for chat regarding working on a youth obesity programme they're running. If they like me I get a twelve month contract, which would make a nice change.

Regards

sarah

Sounds like a plan to me Sonja! Am really looking forward to seeing this grow & being a part of it from the early stages. Still need to get into the blogging 'head space' & understand the concept of friend invitations? Sure it will happen soon.

Yes, I have shown the story to a few of my work colleagues a number of weeks back who have been interested to hear about the progress ... all the feedback was very positive. I'm still considering what angle I might pursue for my next project & what story assets I may have to support it?
Oh1 And by the way, are you going to be uploading our current stories onto the site or is that up to us? Sharon H was just asking whether I was going to be posting my story ... so I thought I'd better ask.

I already had a cd of sounds and I just used them one after the other before the music. Vista has a better moviemaker than xp, more 'panning' choices.
catch up soon

Hey Sonja, I didn't need to use audacity so I won't be much help with that, although I want to learn to use it. I'll give it a try. Nice to be back.

Makes perfect sense to me Sonja (is that scary?!?) I'm really excited for you as you're now beginning to see the fruits of your labour ... I think it's brilliant!
I also seem to be getting drawn into other areas of advocay & education of late! Will likely be cofacilitating some future GLBTIQS Awareness training that you were invited to present at where we met & am planning to attend a feasability study Community Focus Group in a couple of weeks to try to advocate for the consideration of specific focus for the TG/TS individuals in our society amongst a new remote access model for CBT based psychological services seeking to be trialled in the near future. A joint project between Southern Mental Health, Southern Adelaide Health Services & Flinders Human Behaviour & Research Unit @ Flinders Uni & funded by Beyonblue in Victoria, it follows a successful model in place in the UK that aims to remove barriers & close the gaps on those who frequently fall through due to lack of access/opportunity. Am looking forward to it ... Sounds an exciting concept!

Hey Sonja! Yes this is a bit new to me too, will have to work it all out. Have begun customizing my info & will look for a suitable pic ... I do like yours though! What I've seen of the site so far looks great! Will spend more time when I'm not supposed to be working for a living! LOL! Is the artwork on the header representative of anything?
Talk again soon
