So we were standing outside the newsagent at our local shopping centre this afternoon, looking once again at the board that shows all the possible figures for the - so trendy - My Family Stickers [http://www.mystickfigurefamily.com ] like you see on the backs of cars all over the place. I've been coveting a set of these stickers for some time. Bronwen tore me away from the board in the end, claiming they made her feel slightly…

Hi RFT Clanspeople,
Sonja asked me to jot down a few thoughts about what it's like to be working on a digital story. I've made several now, and they fall into 2 categories - completely personal stories that I make about my son, and the more politically motivated, serious sort.
I use Windows Live MovieMaker and I am still learning what it's capable of. So technically, it's quite fun and frustrating at the same time. The more stories I make, the more ambitious I become.…

Hi All,
Just to let you know I made a quick digidoc of my experience of today's IDAHO rally in Adelaide. Would be great to hear and view others' perspectives and experiences, too. You can see it on the Rainbow Family Tree's facebook page.
Or maybe here: http://www.facebook.com/#!/video/video.php?v=10150180293672653&comments

In December I started a Balcony Herb and Vegetable Garden which I am am planning on using to improve my diet and increase the amount of fruit and vegetables that I eat. I am also trying to organise a group to meet up at the Adelaide central market on a regular basis to do a weekly shop in bulk and then share the produce amongst the group. In 2012 I plan on reducing my meat intake and becoming more conscious of my impact on the planet.
Hi Melina, I wonder who that is.
:)
Grr... cross! It seems that the plan RFT is currently on no longer allows for direct uploads... and the next level up is $500 p/year instead of $200. So it looks like best alternatives would be suggesting people upload to a youtube (free but they license rights to do anything they like with the video) or vimeo channel (retaining copyright and control over privacy settings but costs) then embed in the RFT site... I'll investigate a bit more but it might be a good subject to throw open for community discussion!
Cheers, S
