- I'm a primary school teacher, writer and activist in the NSW Teachers Federation (NSWTF).
In 2010/11 I wrote a sexuality and gender policy for members. This policy was adopted unanimously at the NSWTF Annual Conference in Sydney in July 2011. The policy addresses issues related to people of diverse sexuality and genders within a holistic gender framework.
I have started writing a resource for primary school teachers. There are some excellent resources out there that aren't being used! I dont know what I will come up with but I want to write something that actually makes a difference! I'm interested in capturing the history of homophobia, the expereince of GLBTI kids and teachers, the expereinces of rainbow families...
