What would you most like to change about the world that you live in?
I believe that the root of all issues (worldy and personal) is inequality. I want to live in a world that effectively addresses inequality and works towards a society that is based on equality.
What can you do to make it happen?
It all starts at home. I make a conscience effort to be respectful in everyday situations- To humans, animals and the environment. All oppression is connected and encourage those around me to do the same.
When you're not busy changing the world, what do you do for fun?
Tea, knitting, crotchet and friendship! I also love to dance and agree with the title of Alice Walkers poetry collection 'Hard times call for furious dancing' :)

Thanks for joining us here! I’m Sonja and I moderate the site as ‘Rainbow Family Tree’. I’m keen that everyone gets lots out of the site so I’m wondering what you’re hoping for...
- are you interested in making a Digital Story one day? - are you interested in watching the stories here and maybe sharing them with your friends, family members, teachers, Members of Parliament?
There are some things you can do to help make the site a vibrant and interesting place...
- leave comments for the storytellers when you watch their stories - share them on facebook or send the link out via email or e:lists - share the occasional blog post about your experiences, small and large, of ‘everyday activism’... and maybe even some crochet tips ; )
Hope to hear from you and see you around the site!
