How do I download hi-res pciture from stock xchange?

the pictures I download are very low res.
I'm just clikcing "save image as" so presumably it's just saving the thumbnail, not the high res copy.

Hey Molly,
Are you registered with the site? For the full-size images you need to be logged in. Registration is free and quick - you only need an email address for them to send the account confirmation to. Then you can click on the desired image a couple of times to click through to the full size picture.

if we're looking at the same website there should be a 'download' tab below the photo. click on this to download the original file. hope that helps
