Well your film is a beautiful, strong and caring message to send to us about Loving and belonging within all types of families. This strengthens us all. Thank you for sharing your experiences, your kids can feel safe in the strength of Will that encircles them too! I like that about your story. It is a statement to them too isn't it, to just Be and wait for the world to catch up and get with it!!

In this, our second digidoc, the intention was to move beyond the defensive place we spoke from the first time we made a story about our family. In ‘Our Conception Story’ we were trying to protect our family from the gaze of others. This time, we are focussed on the ways in which, despite the gaze of others, we continue to thrive as a family headed by two men.
Thus, whilst our story still focuses inwardly, it does so this time to say that ‘yes, our family matters’. We refuse to acknowledge the call
to account for ourselves!
In speaking together as two parents, our voices demonstrate both the strengths and harmony of our family unit, whilst also recognizing the differences within it. In so doing, the adult voices of our family do not reveal all there is to tell about our family, but rather show that as a family we gaze back at the rest of the world with strength and conviction.
