Hiya Soph! Excellent message and idea! Some ideas in response... I think you've proposed terrain for a very interesting debate and it fits in various areas on the site but at the moment I don't think it's visible to anyone other than you and me... it's EXACTLY the kind of discussion that could kick off the GLBTQIA forum ie I don't fit here - I want my own category... (although I have to say you definitely fit my 'family' friend' 'ally' 'bi' 'cool mum' and maybe 'former lezzo!' categories... not that it matters where I think you fit!!). I guess one also has to ask: why does a label matter?
Plus - there's nothing in the 'Family' group forum yet... so you could talk there about the responsibilities/challenges of being an open-minded parent, particularly around gender 'education'... there are many other people here who'll get exactly what you're talking about... so why don't you cut and paste your message to me into 2 forum discussions and get the debate rolling?? XX

Mmm I'm still finding my way around navigation too, it get's easier with familiarity... let me know if there's anything I can tweak in terms of making stuff easier to find/do - your 'virgin' eye is invaluable.

Good luck with gastro and foot... Ari was home last week with hand, foot and mouth disease... the glories of children/winter ; )
