What would you most like to change about the world that you live in?
I would like to change the masses of hate to masses of love. War to Peace. Violence to Giving and Sharing.
What can you do to make it happen?
Tikkun Olam - repair of the world starts in my own community. I sing in a choir that raises awareness and money for the homeless. I speak up whenever I hear homophobic comments. I write to pollies and papers and sign petitions. I raise my children with love, and teach them by example that all types of families are normal and acceptable.
When you're not busy changing the world, what do you do for fun?

Hi Larisa - I just coincidentally rewatched 'Rowan's family tree' and made the connection... it's great that you're part of such an awesome family! Please feel free to participate actively by commenting, posting personal experiences or sharing the Digital Stories elsewhere in your networks... family members are most often the greatest allies, advocates and buddies... for some lucky ones, anyway ; )
Thanks for joining us here! I’m Sonja and I moderate the site as ‘Rainbow Family Tree’. I’m keen that everyone gets lots out of the site so I’m wondering what you’re hoping for...
- are you interested in making a Digital Story one day? - are you interested in watching the stories here and maybe sharing them with your friends, family members, teachers, Members of Parliament?
There are some things you can do to help make the site a vibrant and interesting place...
- leave comments for the storytellers when you watch their stories - share them on facebook or send the link out via email or e:lists - share the occasional blog post about your experiences, small and large, of ‘everyday activism’... it sounds like you've got lots of anecdotes! Also, I'd be keen to hear more about 'Tikkun Olam' ; )
Hope to hear from you and see you around the site!
