<p>b) an archive of digital stories- better links and connections forged with other like minded web communities- better tech support and strategies for people who wish to share their stories more widely (e.g embedding them in blogs, other support group webspaces, and maybe facebook, twitter etc)</p>

<p>Some of these things might form a 'to do' list…</p>
<p><br/>- those of you who are keen can become 'site administrators' which means you have complete access to 'back end' info and opportunity to manipulate site architecture</p>
<p>- if this sounds a bit too 'hard core' I have created a sub-group called <a href="http://rainbowfamilytree.com/group/webcrew" target="_self">'community administrators'</a> where we can swap notes on all of this stuff and, most importantly, send messages to all of the other people in this sub-group (please join!)</p>
<p>- we could do regular e:mail outs to all members on simple strategies for sharing stories online- apart from anything else just jumping in and posting a comment or asking a question will re-energise the space…</p> Everyday Activismtag:rainbowfamilytree.com,2011-02-14:3740708:Topic:38942011-02-14T00:46:02.790ZAmelia Redmanhttp://rainbowfamilytree.com/profile/AmeliaRedman

My name is Kate Wilson (nee Evans) and I am looking for two long lost friends. I have been slack about keeping up with address changes over the last ten years and have lost track of them. Their names are/were Lizzy Watson and sister Rebecca Woodward (nee Watson). I know them from Tasmania. I lived in Lizzy's house in 1982. Can anyone help?

Hi all,<br />
It was good to see so many of you at the launch, and amazing to see those stories up on the big screen. I caught so many details and nuances that I missed watching the first time around on a computer screen. I had a great day and it seemed to me the stories went down really well with the audience. It's been a pleasure to work on this and I'm glad to have met and worked with some really nice people. I've been very pleasantly surprised to learn just how powerful one person's story can be,…

It's been a pleasure to work on this and I'm glad to have met and worked with some really nice people. I've been very pleasantly surprised to learn just how powerful one person's story can be, and it's been good to see people connect through sharing their stories and hearing the stories of others. Thank you Sonja, for bringing me on board, and thanks to everyone who I worked with or just chewed the fat with during these workshops. See y'all at picnic hopefully.<br />

What have been the biggest <b>challenges</b> for you so far? Time? Technical aptitude? Motivation? The website?<br />
<br />
What have been the biggest <b>rewards</b>? Creative stimulation? Engaging with other storytellers? Dreaming about the impact that your story will have?<br />
<br />
We'll ask again when all is done and dusted... and I, for one, am sure that the scales will be heavily weighted on the <i>'this was SO worth it'</i> side ; )

Personaly I like the umbrella term, but I lso believe individuals have the right to select their own terminologies.
