Hi All,

They are ready to edit, but are trying to raise funds for this, by (small) donations from interested supporters. I thought some people on this site may be interested in participating. My name is Kate Wilson (nee Evans) and I am looking for two long lost friends. I have been slack about keeping up with address changes over the last ten years and have lost track of them. Their names are/were Lizzy Watson and sister Rebecca Woodward (nee Watson). I know them from Tasmania. I lived in Lizzy's house in 1982. Can anyone help?

Hi all,
It was good to see so many of you at the launch, and amazing to see those stories up on the big screen. I caught so many details and nuances that I missed watching the first time around on a computer screen. I had a great day and it seemed to me the stories went down really well with the audience. It's been a pleasure to work on this and I'm glad to have met and worked with some really nice people. I've been very pleasantly surprised to learn just how powerful one person's story can be,…

It's been a pleasure to work on this and I'm glad to have met and worked with some really nice people. I've been very pleasantly surprised to learn just how powerful one person's story can be, and it's been good to see people connect through sharing their stories and hearing the stories of others. Thank you Sonja, for bringing me on board, and thanks to everyone who I worked with or just chewed the fat with during these workshops. See y'all at picnic hopefully.
Personaly I like the umbrella term, but I lso believe individuals have the right to select their own terminologies. Transensual Femmetag:rainbowfamilytree.com,2009-09-10:3740708:Topic:6952009-09-10T21:57:58.000ZFanny Jacobsonhttp://rainbowfamilytree.com/profile/FannyJacobson
I claim T as my letter but it's not either of the Ts on offer ... btw - I don't do T altho I have contemplated it at times. (that's a joke) The term transensual femme was coined around 2002 by a group of (mostly) dykes who found themselves often on the outside of the lesbian community being neither butch enough nor lipstick enough (or overlipsticked) to be recognised. Furthermore there seemed to be a theme running that most of the women were attracted to or very close friends with trans men…

(that's a joke) The term transensual femme was coined around 2002 by a group of (mostly) dykes who found themselves often on the outside of the lesbian community being neither butch enough nor lipstick enough (or overlipsticked) to be recognised. Furthermore there seemed to be a theme running that most of the women were attracted to or very close friends with trans men (although there was a massive outrage about the notion that we may be defined by this) and were struggling with new identity issues ie: if now attracted to men, were we heterosexual, bisexual, something else? What did that mean about our status in the lesbian community and how to use some of the new privileges of being in a "straight" couple plus what if our partners were stealth? How to continue to navigate the queer community? Check out new book by Del Lagrace Volcano and Ulrika Dahl "Femmes of Power"
